The centuries of experiment by Carmelite monks resulted in the recipe of this famous essence that has for centuries healed everyday illness. Its foremost and most tested recipe was published in the year 1880 in Dr. H. Hager's German encyclopedia, titled "Handbuch der Pharmaceutische Praxis." It contains six essential oils, those of Mellisa, Cinnamon cassia, Lemon, Clove bud, Nutmeg mace and Coriander. Essential oils are genuine substances which are derived from plants. In 1913, a Polish pharmacist utilized this recipe to create his own formula named ARGOL. From that time until 1952, it was indispensable remedy for the Poles, furthermore, it was exported to Germany as well.

In 1992, after a period of 40 years of historical perturbations, the product has returned to its original place in Polish pharmacies. Today the correct choice of ingredients has been confirmed by scientific studies. We enriched the formula with new components even more effective: essential oil of Thyme, which has a positive effect in case of throat infections, balsamic Peppermint oil and natural Menthol. The following clinical and microbiological research has proven that under global standards ARGOL® ESSENZA BALSAMICA is in the class of antibacterial and antifungal preparations with an antibiotic-like effect. It is very helpful in fighting infections of respiratory tracts, as well as throat and mucous of the oral cavity. This formula does not show any side effects or interaction with drugs.
