Dr. Wolz Zell Oxygen® Immunkomplex is characterized by a high content of beta-glucan. It has an immunomodulatory effect, i.e. it stimulates or prevents an excessive immune reaction. For example, it attaches to various cells of the non-specific immune system, binds to the beta-glucan receptor in macrophages, and thus stimulates the production of cytokines such as TNF (tumor necroser) alpha and IL (interleukin) -I beta, supports and therefore stimulates specific immune reactions.
